Christopher Nkunku has accepted personal terms to join Bayern Munich, one of the biggest teams in the Bundesliga.
After failing to secure a starting position at Stamford Bridge, Nkunku wishes to return to Germany.
The player and the club have reached an agreement, although Bayern Munich and Chelsea are still negotiating for the 27-year-old.
Fabrizio Romano is aware that the Premier League team has set an asking price of €70 million to let the Frenchman leave the team.
Given that Mathys Tel has reiterated his intention to remain in Munich, the Bundesliga powerhouses may find it more difficult to negotiate a deal given the Blues’ demands for funding.
Bayern is prepared to wait until the summer for the PSG academy graduate if an agreement cannot be reached to sell Nkunku during the winter transfer window.
