Angelina Jolie, Halle Berry, Jamie Lee Curtis & More Stars Are Giving Back Amid LA Fires
Nina Dobrev is paying it forward.
The Vampire Diaries actress—who recently got engaged to Shaun White—shared how the devastating fires in Los Angeles have affected her emotionally while also asking for her followers’ assistance in helping those who were directly impacted.
“Hi everyone, it’s been such a tragic time in Los Angeles recently,” Nina began a Jan. 19 Instagram video. “I have been absolutely sick to my stomach with all the destruction and devastation that these fires have caused and displaced so many families. My heart is broken for all the people affected by these wildfires.”
“We evacuated on January 9th, definitely not how I planned on spending my birthday,” she continued, “but I wanted to make this video to thank everyone for their birthday wishes and to make a request.”
The 35-year-old went on to explain that she’s been “feeling survivor’s guilt” not just because she was able to flee L.A., but also because her home wasn’t affected despite being “close to one of the fires.”
