Renowned boxer Anthony Joshua paid President Bola Tinubu a visit at his Lagos home and gave him a gift of an autographed glove.
Dada Olusegun, the Special Advisor to the President on Social Media, made the disclosure via his X handle.
The glove bears the following inscription: “To the Great Asiwaju Borgu of Africa, Bola A Tinubu.”
Following Governor Dapo Abiodun’s selection of Joshua as Ogun State’s sports ambassador, this gesture was made.
During a courtesy call at the Government House in Abeokuta on Monday, the appointment was made.
In addition to his father’s Nigerian and Irish heritage, Joshua’s mother is Nigerian.
His Yoruba ancestry gives him Nigerian ancestry.
According to President Bola Tinubu, Anthony Joshua, a well-known boxer, is a respectable ambassador of Nigeria and a true champion.
