As Police Bust Shrines Used By Unknown Gunmen
Nine shrines used gunmen for oath-taking have been raided by the joint task force on security in Anambra state.
The military and police in the state have reportedly busted the ‘unknown gunmen’ camps in the Anambra South Senatorial District.
Reports said informants to the hoodlums were in detention.
Areas raided included Aguluezechukwu in Aguata Local Government Area; Ebenato community in Nnewi South LGA; Ezinifite community also in Nnewi South LGA; and Ichi, in Ekwusigo LGA.
Other areas include part of Osumoghu, Lilu and some parts of Ukpor in Nnewi South and Ihiala LGAs.
