Madi previously spoke about the moment she found out she was pregnant, which she revealed came shortly after her and Grant began trying.
“We said we don’t wanna put any pressure on it, we don’t know what this journey’s gonna look like,” Madi said on her Stay True with Madison Prewett podcast with Grant in August. “Again, we didn’t want to just expect that we were gonna be able to get pregnant. We’ve walked our friends through a lot of really hard things.”
And she admitted to being surprised by the test.
“There was nothing in my mind that even for a second was like, ‘This could be pregnant,’” she said at the time. “I don’t know why my mind just didn’t even go there.”
For Grant, who found out a week after Madi due to work, he called the news, “one of the most surreal moments of my life.”
