The Finnish head coach of Lobi Stars, Mika Lonnstrom, has stated that the squad will continue to fight until the end of the current 2024–2025 NPFL season.
Rangers International defeated Lobi Stars 3-0 on the fourteenth day of the NPFL at Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium in Enugu.
Ifeanyi Onyebuchi, Kenneth Igboke, and Owumiru Frank gave Rangers the advantage early on.
The player’s effort and the team’s progress were commended by Lonnstrom, who stated: “Our young players are adjusting to our playing pattern. In training, they’re reacting well to the procedure.
“Unfortunately, the result didn’t reflect their effort, but we’ll keep pushing,” he said.
In an attempt to recover more quickly, Lobi Stars will next play Kwara United in Lafia.
