The Lobi Stars have stepped up their preparations for their first-stanza league matchup against Heartland.
On Tuesday, the Pride of Makurdi had a lively practice at McCarthy Stadium.
Heartland and Lobi Stars will face off on Sunday at Lafia City Stadium.
Daniel Amokachi’s team is committed to finishing the year with a victory.
“We held a spirited training session at the McCarthy Stadium, Makurdi, as we gear up for our matchday 19 clash against Heartland FC of Owerri this weekend,” Lobi Stars wrote on X.
“This game, which marks the last match of the year 2024 and the conclusion of the first stanza of the NPFL 2024/2025 season, carries a special significance.
“The atmosphere at the training ground was vibrant, blending the team’s focus and determination with the joy and warmth of the Yuletide season.
“All eyes are on securing a positive result to close the year on a high note.”
