The Liberia Football Association (LFA) officially kicked off the 2024/25 National U15 League in Montserrado County on Tuesday, 24 December.
Sixteen teams from across the county are competing in the youth league, which is also part of the FIFA Talent Development Scheme (TDS).
At the opening match, LFA Technical Director Doco Wesseh expressed gratitude to the officials of the participating teams for their continued dedication and investment in grassroots football.
He also reaffirmed the LFA’s commitment to providing opportunities for young players to showcase their talents.Each team was presented with five footballs at the start of the league.
LFA Executive Committee member Pawala Janyan officially launched and kicked off the league on behalf of the LFA president. The league is also set to commence in other counties early 2025.
