Leganes has entered the competition for Cyriel Dessers, a forward for the Rangers.
Dessers was Rangers’ first-choice striker at the beginning of the season, but he is currently below Danilo and Hamza Igamane in the hierarchy.
Since the end of November, the Nigerian international has not started a game for Rangers.
This season, the 30-year-old has scored 12 goals for Philippe Clement’s team, but he has come under fire for squandering other easy opportunities.
Reports state that Leganes want to sign the striker before the current transfer window closes.
Serie A teams Empoli and Cagliari are interested in Dessers and will compete with the Madrid-based club.
Two years ago, the 30-year-old left Italian club Cremonese to join Rangers.
