Real Madrid ace, Luka Modric has said that he was proud after setting two records at the club.
Modric became the oldest player to play an official match for the Los Blancos on Saturday when he featured against Celta Vigo in the LaLiga.
The Croatia midfielder, who’s 39 years and 40 days, surpassed the club’s legend Ferenc Puskás’s record in 1966.
Modric also became the oldest player to win the most titles at Madrid.
Reacting after the game, Modric said via Fabrizio Romano:
“I’m proud to be part of Real Madrid history being the oldest player and winning the most titles.
“I’m proud and happy to have achieved all these things with Real Madrid.”
