Kano Pillars Football Club has terminated the contract with its Technical Adviser, Paul Offor, just a month after his appointment.
The decision, made by mutual consent, marked the end of Offor’s tenure with the club after the resignation of former manager, Abdul Maikaba.
In an official statement, the Club’s Chairman Ali Muhammad Umar explained, “Kano Pillars Football Club announces the mutual termination of the contract with its Technical Adviser, Paul Offor. The decision was made in good faith and with mutual consent, underscoring a shared understanding between both parties.”
Offor, a UEFA License C holder, joined Kano Pillars with a notable track record, having guided Sporting Lagos to promotion to the NPFL within a year and securing the club’s first-ever trophy in the Naija Super 8.
Despite these accomplishments, his time with Kano Pillars has come to an unexpectedly sudden end.
The club’s management is now focused on appointing a new Technical Adviser to lead the team into the 2024/25 Nigeria Premier Football League season.
“As Kano Pillars FC looks forward, the club is set to appoint a new Technical Adviser to steer the team in the upcoming season,” Umar added.
