Alex Iwobi and Calvin Bassey played for Fulham, who won the Premier League match on Saturday at the King Power stadium over struggling Leicester City.
Emile Smith Rowe and Adama Traore’s goals in the second half gave Fulham the victory.
While Leicester has now dropped their previous seven league games, Fulham is back to winning ways.
After surviving a difficult opening minute in which Timothy Castagne nearly diverted Jamie Vardy’s cross into his own net, Fulham finally got ahead in the 48th minute when Sasa Lukic headed down Harry Wilson’s chipped cross for Smith Rowe to find the target with a low diving header.
As cries of “Leicester City’s going down” echoed around the stadium, an unmarked Traore increased the visitors’ advantage 20 minutes later after the Spaniard struck the net from Wilson’s cross.
Victor Kristiansen nearly gave Leicester the lead before the break, but the Danish defender’s curling attempt narrowly missed the far post. Leicester had gotten off to a strong start.
Alex Iwobi quickly took over for Fulham when he charged in from the left and floated the ball off the crossbar and towards the near post.
Iwobi was inside the box two minutes after Smith Rowe’s ball, but Wout Faes made a sliding block to keep the Nigerian out.
Leicester put up a strong fight for an equaliser after Fulham took the lead, but Stephy Mavididi’s left-footed shot from a tight angle in the 55th minute was denied by custodian Bernd Leno’s timely dive.
The home crowd cheered Jordan Ayew on as he blasted over the bar, but Traore’s goal dampened the mood in the arena.
On January 26, the same day Fulham hosts Manchester United, Leicester travels to Tottenham Hotspur.
