While he enjoyed being a “big holiday tradition family” with his kids, the All My Children alum is now leaning on other family members to ring in the festivities this year. Specifically, he plans to spend Christmas with his own father in Colorado.
“I’m going to go skiing on Christmas Day,” he said. “The mountains are super healing for me. I’ll spend a little time Christmas morning with my dad, and then, boom, I’m gonna hit the slopes. And that’ll be my connection to my heart there, and think of the kids, because that’s something we love to do together.”
Overall, Cameron is navigating this new chapter one step at a time.
“Vanessa and I are getting along amazingly well,” he said. “The kids are adapting as well as they can. It’s a good chapter for them, because they’re off doing their own thing, starting their new lives anyway.”
In fact, Lucas and Leila jetted off to Europe to attend college in August. Cameron and Vanessa’s son is studying fashion design in London and their daughter traveled to Paris to study psychology and creative writing.
