The funeral rites for the late group managing director and CEO of Access Bank Plc, Herbert Wigwe began on Monday with a ceremony tagged Herbert Wigwe: Celebrating Professional Excellence.
He alongside his wife and son died in a helicopter crash on February 9, 2024 in the United States on his way to attend the Super Bowl 58 championship in Las Vegas.
The full funeral arrangements for the Wigwes as released by the family kicked off with the Celebrating Herbert Wigwe – ” A Professional Legacy” programme on Monday, March 4, 2024 at Eko Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos from 2pm.
Celebrating Chizi Wigwe kicks off on Tuesday, March 5, 2024 at the same Eko Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos at 10:00 am. At 5:00pm, Celebrating Chizoba Wigwe , takes off, same day at the same venue.
Night of Tributes holds on Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at Eko Hotel Victoria Island, Lagos at 5:00 pm. Next day, Thursday, March 7, 2024, there would be a Combined Service of Songs at RCCG, Resurrection Parish,1 Resurrection Drive, 1st Gate, Jakande Estate, Km 15 Lekki at 10:00 am. The Christian Wake-Keeping comes up on Friday, March 8, 2024 at Wigwe University, Isiokpo, Rivers State at 6:00 pm.
