After weeks of speculation, Galatasaray has officially announced the departure of Hakim Ziyech. The Moroccan international, no longer part of the club’s plans, reached a mutual agreement to terminate his contract on Wednesday evening.
“The contract of our professional footballer Hakim Ziyech has been terminated by mutual agreement. It is respectfully announced to the public,” the Turkish club stated in a press release.
Having been sidelined for several matches, Ziyech is now set to embark on a new adventure. While an agreement with Al Nasr Dubai was initially in place, he has instead chosen to join Qatari side Al-Duhail, where he will reunite with coach Christophe Galtier. His move is expected to be made official shortly.
