Nigeria’s Flamingos advanced to the U-17 WAFU B Girls Cup final on Thursday after defeating Benin Republic 2-0.
The Flamingos will now play the Black Maidens of Ghana in the final on Sunday as a result of the victory.
Following a decisive 5-0 victory over Cote d’Ivoire, the Ghanaian squad secured their spot in the championship game.
The Flamingos defeated Niger Republic 9-0 in their opening Group B match of the competition to advance to the final.
Harmony Chidi scored a hat-trick as the team defeated Cote d’Ivoire 3-2 in their second group match.
