Football Kenya Federation (FKF) Presidential aspirant Sam Nyamweya visited Mathare United headquarters in Komarock area Nairobi to get a feel of the grassroots state of our football.
Mathare has been at the core of development of players in Kenya who have risen to great heights. He also visited Kayole areas where he interacted with different categories of football players whose dreams in football are in limbo as a result of poor administration.
He came face to face with the poor state of grassroots infrastructure that need dire attention. President Nyamweya was on a tour of Nairobi to get a feel of the state of our grassroot football that is in collapse and yet it forms a critical part of Kenya’s football architecture.
