Rivers United’s coach, Finidi George, has blamed lost opportunities for the team’s inability to pick as many goals as possible against Sunshine Stars.
The Pride of Rivers opened the scoring, but shortly before the game ended, they let Sunshine Stars level up.
“They deserved all the points in the game,” the former Super Eagles manager stated.
” It was a good game, we played to win.
“In the first half we missed couple of chances, we would have won the game, if we scored the game would have been different”.
“We later got a goal and we tried to hold on but the free kick, we should have done better, they got a free header we should not have been like that”.
“A draw is not bad but looking at the game , I think we should have won the game 2-1”, he said.
