Nigeria’s anti- graft watchdog, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested persons alleged to have engaged in vote buying in the ongoing governorship election in Ekiti state, Southwest Nigeria.
The EFCC is monitoring the conduct of the polls alongside other security agencies.
Some of the suspects were paraded at the Oke Ori Omi Area Division of the Nigerian Police Force.
It was gathered that the suspects were said to have been caught with cash allegedly used to induce voters.
