Chelsea thrashed Armenian team FC Noah 8-0 at Stamford Bridge on Thursday to maintain their lead in the Conference League standings.
Joao Felix and Christopher Nkunku both scored twice for Chelsea. In the 12th minute, Tosin Adarabioyo headed in a corner kick, giving the home supporters their first goal.
A minute later, Marc Guiu intercepted a bad defensive ball and slotted home the second.
After eighteen minutes, Alex Disasi headed another goal from a corner, and in the twenty-first minute, Portuguese player Felix intercepted a pass from Enzo Fernandez and snuck his shot under the goalie.
Six minutes before halftime, Mykhailo Mudryk made it five with a stunning shot into the top corner, and two minutes later, Felix scored his second.
Chelsea let up after six goals in the first half, but Frenchman Nkunku managed to score twice, first by converting a penalty seven minutes later and then by grabbing a rebound after his first attempt was blocked in the 69th minute.
Due to their superior goal differential over a chasing group of five other teams with spotless records, Chelsea leads the standings with nine points after three games.
