CAF has granted both Uganda and Burundi to play their African Nations Championship (CHAN) 2024 Qualifier matches at Hamz Stadium, Nakivubo.
In order to have proper management of crowd control, CAF has directed the number of fans that will access the stadium for each of the games to be limited to 7,000 only.
Uganda has already sealed a place at the biennal tournament as a co-host alongside Tanzania and Kenya but the team will use these matches for preparations while Burundi and other teams in the region will be seeking to take up the only extra slot allocated to CECAFA region through the qualifying rounds.
The CHAN 2024 Finals Tournament is slated to take place in the aforementioned three countries between 1st and 21st February 2025.
