CAF President Dr. Patrice Motsepe recently met with the President of the Botswana Football Association (BFA), Mr. Tariq Babitseng. The brief but impactful meeting took place on the sidelines of a regional football summit, underscoring the shared commitment to advancing the sport across the continent.
During their discussions, Mr. Babitseng highlighted the strides Botswana football has made in recent years, as well as the challenges that remain in grassroots development, infrastructure, and youth engagement. Dr. Motsepe assured Mr. Babitseng of CAF’s unwavering support and his personal commitment to ensuring that Botswana benefits from CAF’s various development programs. “Botswana has incredible potential, and CAF is dedicated to working hand-in-hand with the BFA to unlock opportunities for growth and success,” Dr. Motsepe remarked.
