The 2024 CAF Women’s Champions League champions will receive $400000 in prize money, while the runners-up will receive $250,000.
This information was released by the Confederation of African Football, or CAF.
The CAF WCL is set for November 09–23, 2024, in Morocco, where Edo Queens, representing Nigeria and WAFU B, will compete.
Having won the competition twice in the last three years, Mamelodi Sundowns are the current champions.
The other team that has triumphed in the competition is Morocco’s ASFAR, who beat Mamelodi Sundowns in 2022.
Six Zonal competitions were held to guarantee six clubs, together with the host and 2023 champion, a spot in the CAF WCL 2024 Final Table.
