A Nigerian basketball player has penned an open letter to popular singer Davido, seeking an opportunity to model for his Puma basketball and sports collection.
In a detailed statement shared on her page via the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), the player, Jadesola, passionately appealed to the music star, referencing her skills and background in basketball.
She revealed that she plays as a shooting guard and small forward for a Lagos-based basketball team and is leveraging Davido’s well-known love for basketball to make her case.
Jadesola also recalled a previous encounter with the singer at the Giants of Africa event in 2021, where she took pictures with him.
She expressed her hope that Davido would consider her request, describing it as a life-changing opportunity for her and her family.
Her heartfelt letter reads:
