Manchester City have rejected Manchester United’s request to fly Alejandro Garnacho and Kobbie Mainoo to the Ballon d’Or ceremony on Monday.
According to Mail Sport, City told United that the flight is full.
The Premier League champions have paid for a private jet to take their sizable delegation to Paris for the event.
It has now been revealed that United asked their city rivals if they had any room for their two hopefuls.
Sadly, for the Red Devils, they were informed that there was no room on the flight and alternate arrangements had to be made.
United are in the midst of a series of cost-saving measures following the arrival at the club of Sir Jim Ratcliffe and his INEOS group earlier this year.
