Youth coach Arthur Zwane has left Amakhosi to take up the position of joint head coach of AmaZulu FC alongside Vusumuzi Vilakazi, effective immediately.
This confirmation follows an official announcement made by Usuthu on Tuesday night.Known affectionately as “10111”, Zwane began his career with Amakhosi as a player in 2000, retiring in 2010 after 252 appearance and helping the team collect 12 trophies.
He subsequently served as an assistant coach under Vladimir Vermezovic until 2012 before switching to the Club’s development structures where he worked hard to produce some of South Africa’s top football talent.
Zwane returned to the senior team in 2020 as an assistant coach, collaborating with experienced coaches Gavin Hunt, Stuart Baxter and Molefi Ntseki. He led the first team as head coach for one season, starting in June 2022 in the Premiership.
With a wealth of coaching experience, a strong culture of winning and a solid foundation in youth development, Zwane moves on to further his career at AmaZulu FC.
