The ruling People’s Democratic Party, PDP and All Progressives Congress, APC are now said to be mounting pressure on the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC ahead of Saturday’s April 15 governorship rerun elections in Adamawa state, North East Nigeria.

The supporters of the two major political parties thronged into INEC office in Yola, the state capital demanding for credible and acceptable polls at the end of the exercise.

Speaking on behalf of APC demonstrators, Mr Smart Edward, the Supreme Leader of Native Worldwide called on Adamawa Electoral Resident Commissioner not to be partisan but should summon courage that the votes of the people must count.

Other speakers were confident that their preferable candidate would emerge victorious at the end of the exercise.
