The 2025 Africa Cup of Nations will feature 24 teams, all of whom have been confirmed.
This comes after Tuesday night’s conclusion of the qualifying series.
The final three nations to reserve their slots are Tanzania, Botswana, and Mozambique.
Twenty-one teams had qualified for the tournament before to Tuesday’s games.
Next year, Morocco, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Algeria, DR Congo, Senegal, Egypt, Angola, Gabon, Uganda, and South Africa will all be competing for the Africa Cup of Nations title.
Other countries include Equatorial Guinea, Cote d’Ivoire, Nigeria, Benin Republic, Comoros, Sudan, Zimbabwe, Mali, Zambia, and Tunisia.
From December 21, 2025, to January 18, 2026, Morocco will host the 2025 AFCON.
