Rabiu Ali, a midfielder for Kano Pillars, hopes to play for the Home-based Eagles for a third time if they make it to the tournament.
The 44-year-old superstar is one among the players in camp for this weekend’s pivotal second-leg showdown against Ghana’s Black Galaxies in Uyo.
Ali is anticipated to play a significant part in the pivotal match after the first leg concluded without a goal.
“This will be my third time in the tournament finals if we qualify.
” Of course, I’m praying for us to beat Ghana on Saturday”.
“The ticket is the first objective. With the quality of players in this team, as you’ve seen in training, I believe we can beat Ghana and secure qualification”, he said.
