Ali Lone Goal Hands Pillars Victory On The Road As Lobi Beat Abia Warriors

Kano Pillars defeated Bendel Insurance 1-0 on the road at Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium in Benin City on Saturday night, with Rabiu Ali scoring the game-winning goal.

The seasoned midfielder gave Kano Pillars the game’s most points by converting from the penalty deep into stoppage time.

This season, Ali scored six goals in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).

This was the Sai Masu Gida’s second road victory of the season.

In other game Saturday fixture,Lobi Stars defeated Abia Warriors 3-1 in the Lafia City Stadium.

Four minutes before the hour, Sunday Megwo gave Abia Warriors the lead.

But thanks to goals from Christian Nnaji and Segun Oloruntoba (brace), the home team came back.

Eight games will be played in Sunday, at various venues.
