Airstrike Kills Over 120 Bandits In Zamfara

The Nigerian Airforce have killed not less than 120 armed bandits in multiple airstrikes executed at Sububu Forest in Zamfara State.

The airstrikes were executed on Monday after residents in the community alerted security personnel about suspicious movements by unknown faces suspected to be bandits within the Sububu axis.

A reconnaissance aircraft was deployed for spotting, collection of imagery and observation of the bandits at Sububu, Jajani, and Damaka, before precision airstrikes were carried out on the targets.

The A-Jet conducted a surveillance over the aforementioned locations and observed several bandits arriving in droves and taking cover over large trees at the southwestern part of Sububu settlement. These targets were subsequently engaged and hit.

Sources say about 125 criminals were eliminated while others fled during the onslaught.
