Sokoto State Governor, Ahmed Aliyu, has called on newly appointed heads of security agencies in the state to intensify efforts in combating banditry and other criminal activities.
The governor made this appeal during a courtesy visit by the security heads to the Government House in Sokoto, the state capital, on Friday.
He highlighted the significant progress the state government has made in tackling insecurity and urged the new security chiefs to build on these accomplishments.
“We have achieved remarkable successes in our fight against banditry in Sokoto, and we expect you to continue this progress with your best efforts,” Governor Aliyu said.
