AmaZulu FC claimed a hard-fought 2-1 victory over SuperSport United in a Betway Premiership clash at Moses Mabhida Stadium on Saturday.
The match saw early action when Rowan Human gave AmaZulu the lead in the 14th minute, following a blocked long-range shot from the same player in the 11th minute.
SuperSport responded with a close-range save by goalkeeper Richard Ofori, denying Siviwe Magidigi. Tshepang Moremi also tested Ofori, but his shot went narrowly wide.
SuperSport’s persistence paid off when Siphesihle Ndlovu capitalised on an empty net after Ofori had come out to intercept a cut-back, levelling the score at 1-1.
