Brody Jenner Shares Caitlyn Jenner’s Reaction to Him Saying He Felt “Abandoned” (Exclusive)
Brody Jenner and Caitlyn Jenner‘s current relationship is far from undefined.
In fact, though the Hills alum shared he felt a “little bit abandoned” by his dad during his childhood years while appearing on Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test, as Brody explained, that’s water under the bridge.
“We talk all the time,” Brody—whose mom Linda Thompson split from Caitlyn during his younger years—told E! News in an exclusive interview. “I even texted Caitlyn after I watched the episode. I’m like, ‘Hey Dad, just so you know, there’s this stuff.’ But, we’re in a good place.”
As the Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test star noted, “She was so supportive and didn’t care. She’s like, ‘Look, I’ve done all these types of shows. I know how these things work, but you’re doing great.'” (For more with Brody, tune into E! News tonight Jan. 27 at 11 p.m.)
Brody’s insight into his dynamic with Caitlyn comes after the reality star reflected on his childhood during the Jan. 15 episode of the competition show.
“I had an incredible mother. Father, Bruce, at the time, wasn’t around that much,” Brody explained of Caitlyn’s new marriage to Kris Jenner, who was already mom to Kourtney Kardashian, Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian and Rob Kardashian at the time. “They split, and then he met a woman. She had kids as well, the woman that he met, then they had kids together.”
