Known for his leadership skills and deep understanding of the game, Appiah’s appointment has been widely applauded as a step towards strengthening the connection between players and management.
Dr Randy Abbey, a seasoned football administrator and broadcaster, has been named Chairman of the committee. Abbey’s extensive experience in football administration, coupled with his passion for the sport, is expected to provide strong leadership as the committee works to support the Black Stars.
Other members of the newly formed committee include:

- Moses Armah-Parker, President of Medeama SC, whose club has recently gained prominence in African football.
- Dr Richard Nsenkyire, President of FC Samartex, bringing a mix of football administration and business acumen to the team.
The diverse backgrounds of the members are expected to bring a wealth of expertise to the table, addressing both on-field and off-field needs of the Black Stars.
GFA President Kurt Okraku expressed optimism about the committee’s potential to transform the fortunes of the national team. “We are excited to announce the formation of this new Management Committee, which brings together a team of experienced and dedicated individuals who are passionate about Ghana football. We are confident that they will work tirelessly to support the Black Stars and ensure their success,” Okraku stated.
The formation of the new committee comes at a crucial time for Ghana football, as the Black Stars prepare for upcoming international assignments, including qualifiers and tournaments. With a mix of experience, leadership, and passion, the committee is expected to provide strategic guidance to help the team achieve success on the global stage.
Fans across the nation will be watching closely, hopeful that this new leadership team can revive the glory days of Ghana football and bring back the joy and pride the Black Stars have delivered in the past.
