As Mason Mount of Manchester United continues to make a comeback to the first squad, Rubem Amorim says he “believes a lot” in the midfielder.
Mount was replaced after starting Thursday night’s 3-2 victory over Bodo/Glimt for United.
The England midfielder is expected to reinvigorate both his club and international career, and Amorim thinks that English fans are already aware of his talent.
“First thing, he is working really hard. Then you have to understand the human,” he said.
“He wants this really bad. He proved to you that he is a really good player.
“He is a European champion. He has to stay fit.
“Like all the guys in the team, they are quality players.
“They have to improve and believe in themselves. In some details, you could see that Mason Mount is a proper footballer.
” We believe a lot in him. I especially believe a lot in Mason Mount.”
