At the Stade Ahmadou Ahidjo on Tuesday, Cameroon and Zimbabwe will square off for the top spot in Group J of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifications.
The host team has won all seven of their previous meetings with the visitors, who last triumphed in this matchup in the 1994 World Cup qualifying round.
Cameroon had to settle for a portion of the spoils from their most recent match, which ended goalless at Orlando Stadium on Wednesday night against the Namibian Warriors.
After the first five rounds of play, Zimbabwe is one of 11 teams in the AFCON qualifiers that have not lost, and it could join Comoros as one of just two current group runners-up to accomplish this feat.
But with a terrible away record in competitive games outside of major tournaments—just one victory since March 2021—Tuesday’s visitors will have their hands full in their final meeting.
Here is how both teams line up
