NPFL: Plateau United coach Mangut wants improvement from players

by admin

Plateau United technical adviser Mbwas Mangut has insisted that his team still need to improve despite their victory over Sunshine Stars.

The Peace Boys beat Sunshine Stars 3-0 in Sunday’s matchday nine fixture at the New Jos Stadium.

Adamu Abubakar netted a brace, while Vincent Temitope scored the other goal for Plateau United.

Mangut commended his players for the victory but confessed they still have more work to do.

“We really worked hard and the team responded but for me, we still have no comfort on the ball,” Mbwas told Plateau United’s media.

“We are still struggling with circulating the ball. I’m happy with the points and the second-half performance of the team.”

Plateau United are fourth on the Nigeria Premier Football League table with 14 points.
