The Eritrean Football Association has announced its withdrawal from the CHAN 2024 Qualifiers, leading to the cancellation of two scheduled matches.
Matches #3 and #4 of the first round of the CECAFA zone qualifiers, which were set to be played between Eritrea and Ethiopia at Juba National Stadium, will no longer proceed as planned.
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has confirmed Eritrea’s withdrawal and officially cancelled these matches at Juba National Stadium.
The CAF Competitions Division expressed appreciation for the cooperation and understanding of all involved parties regarding this change.
