Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti has reiterated that it is clear that Vinicius Jr. will win the Ballon d’Or.
The winner of the 2024 Ballon d’Or will be announced on Monday in France.
Vinicius, who will compete with the likes of Rodri, Jude Bellingham, Kylian Mbappe and Dani Carvajal, is widely expected to take home the individual prize.
However, speaking at his pre-match press conference on Friday ahead of Real Madrid’s LaLiga El Clasico with Barcelon on Saturday, Ancelotti insisted that there is no doubt that the Brazilian will be the winner of the Ballon d’Or this year.
“We can say that Vini will be the next Ballon d’Or, no doubt,” Ancelotti said via Fabrizio Romano.
“Vinicius will win the Ballon d’Or. For me it’s very clear and there can’t be anyone else winning it”.
Lionel Messi won the last edition of the Ballon d’Or after beating Erling Haaland.
