NPFL: Aweroro wants Ikorodu City to keep fighting

by admin

Ikorodu City interim head coach Nurudeen Aweroro says with the right mentality the team can achieve their target for the season.

The Oga Boys are unbeaten in their last three games in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).

Ikorodu City currently occupy 17th position on the NPFL table with eight points.

Aweroro said his team will keep fighting to maintain their top-flight status.

“I feel very happy and excited for the victory over Lobi Stars, the match is one of the toughest we ever had in the NPFL,” Aweroro told Ikorodu City media.

“I don’t want to be too happy until Ikorodu City is part of the top five in the league.”

Ikorodu City will battle with Enyimba in a week nine fixture in Aba this weekend.
