NPFL: Abia Warriors coach Amapakabo demands improvement from players

by admin

Abia Warriors technical adviser Imama Amapakabo has said that his players need to improve more on their techniques despite their victory over Plateau United.

Amapakabo pointed out that his team conceded goals due to technical mistakes.

Abia Warriors defeated Plateau United 3-1 at the Umuahia Township Stadium, Umuahia.

Paul Samson, Ojonugwa Adejoh and Sunday Megwo were on target for Abia Warriors in the game.

“We needed a win and we got it under our belt most importantly,” Amakpakabo stated in a post-match interview. There has been a lot we have to work on, having conceded three goals in our previous game in Lafia.

“All was as a result of technical errors, which are the things we needed to work on as we conceded again through the same mistake. The players must believe in what we are doing and keep working hard.”
