Kat and Jason first announced the end of their months-long relationship on Oct. 12, reassuring fans that their split was amicable.
“I am sad to share that Kat and I are no longer together,” he wrote on his Instagram Stories. “It’s fair to say that I love hard with all my heart and fall fast. Sometimes in life, that works out and other times it doesn’t. This time, it didn’t.”
Kat also addressed the chatter around their split on her own social media page.
“With two back-to-back hurricanes, I obviously didn’t think it was the right time to talk about my personal life” she said in a video posted to her Instagram story, referencing Hurricane and Hurricane Milton in Florida. “But a lot of you have already asked and yes, Jason and I have broken up.”
“It just didn’t work,” she added. “It’s not love wasted. I feel like sometimes, it’s so easy to think when a relationship ends that the love was wasted but love is never wasted.”
