In the press conference that was conducted at Juba National Stadium, Nicolas Dupuis, head coach of the Senior Bright Star confirmed to the media the readiness of the team for Tuesday’s encounter against Uganda.
Nicolas stressed out that, his players are aware of the importance of the East Africa derby, and are ready for the battle despite the team having number of injured players.
He asded that, Tuesday’s match is important for the players as the team will also prepare to face Kenya in the African Nations Championship (CHAN) Qualifiers this month.
“I am only focusing on developing the level of my players for the upcoming matches, and am asking our fans to strongly support the players as they battle the cranes tomorrow (Tuesday),” Nicolas said.
For his part, the captain of the Bright Star Juma Jenaro said the players are ready for the match and will do their absolute best to win the match.
