The Chipolopolo of Zambia touched down at the Yaoundé Nsimalen International Airport on Saturday and set up base ahead of Tuesday’s Group G Morocco 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Chad.
Zambia and Chad drew 0-0 on Friday at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium and face off on Tuesday in the reverse fixture at the Stade Ahmadou Ahidjo.
The 23-member squad is without the injured Lawrence Mulenga and skipper Clatous Chama who has been excused due to a family situation.
China-based Evans Kangwa has again unexpectedly left camp claiming he preferred returning to his club and will not be part of Tuesday’s match against Chad.
Mulenga who sustained facial injuries on Friday will miss the match while Young Boys midfielder Miguel Chaiwa is in a tight race for fitness after limping off during the match.
Zambia will play Chad in Yaoundé on Tuesday in the reverse fixture.
