The Chipolopolo have gotten down to business in Ndola ahead of Friday’s Group G Morocco 2025 AFCON qualifier against Ivory Coast.
Coach Avram Grant welcomed to the fold all the local players called for duty while some foreign based players have also trickled in droves.
The Tanzania legion of Clatous Chama, Kennedy Musonda (both Young Africans) and Joshua Mutale (Simba SC) and the Israel stars comprising Chipyoka Songa and Gift Mphande were among the early arrivals alongside Kelvin Kampamba and Emmanuel Banda.
Others are Stoppila Sunzu, Obinno Chisala, Joseph Sabobo Banda, Golden Mafwenta and Kings Kangwa. Coach Avram Grant and his technical bench led the lads through the paces at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium.
Zambia plays Ivory Coast on Friday at 18:00 hours in a must win Group G encounter. Ivory Coast lead Group G on nine points, two better than second placed Zambia while Sierra Leone are in third place on four points.
Chad sit at the bottom with two points. Top two teams will qualify to the AFCON with only two rounds of matches remaining.
