Baleke banked the goal through Coastal Union’s defence which failed to clear a corner set piece placed by Max Nzengeli,Coastal Union were not weak; on the contrary, they were strong, but were unlucky in their many endeavours.

They had an opportunity to score in the ninth minute when Maulid Maabad’s header was blocked by woodwork.

With 21 points, Yanga are now only one point behind leaders Singida Black Stars, who have 22 points after eight games, so the Jangwani lads occupy the second place in the league rankings.
