Kabiru Dogo, the technical director for Nasarawa United, has acknowledged his team’s triumph over Kano Pillars.

At the Lafia City Stadium on Sunday, the Solid Miners defeated Kano Pillars 1-0 in their matchday nine game.

For the Solid Miners, Anas Yusuf scored the game-winning goal. Dogo thinks his squad ought to have scored more goals during the match.

We are very happy for this victory, our second at home this season. This is very massive for everyone in Nasarawa State, “Dogo stated in a post-match interview.

“It’s a result nobody expected us to get, especially going by the array of highly experienced players that Kano Pillars paraded, like Ahmed Musa, Shehu Abdullahi and Rabiu Ali(Pele), but glory be to God that we won at last.

“We would have recorded about three goals because we dominated them in all facets and squandered some glorious chances, however, we are still comfortable with the one goal win which also equals three points.”
