Baba Rahman scored a dramatic equalizer deep into stoppage time to help PAOK secure a 2-2 draw against Viktoria Plzen in a thrilling encounter. The Ghanaian left-back struck in the 94th minute, capping a spirited second-half comeback after PAOK had fallen two goals behind in the first half.
The game began with Viktoria Plzen on the front foot, and they thought they had taken an early lead in the 4th minute when Adu found the back of the net. However, the goal was ruled out for offside, denying the Ghanaian his moment of glory. But Adu didn’t stay quiet for long, turning provider in the 31st minute when his precise pass set up Havel, who made no mistake in slotting the ball home to give Plzen the lead.
Just eight minutes later, the home side doubled their advantage. Czech forward Matěj Vydra latched onto a through ball and coolly finished past the PAOK goalkeeper, sending the hosts into halftime with a commanding 2-0 lead.
