Victor Boniface, a Nigerian striker, barely escaped a terrible vehicle accident on Sunday after scoring the game-winning goal for Bayer Leverkusen on Saturday.
Not too long after his game-winning performance, the 23-year-old attacker was involved in an accident, although he thankfully did not sustain any serious injuries.
The football community and supporters have expressed relief at Boniface’s safety following the tragic incident, as he remains a key player in Leverkusen’s outstanding season.
Boniface is supposedly in stable condition, while more information of the collision have not yet been released.
